Bronze Pheasant 2
This shows the pheasant being set up
for a show at Trull House. In the
background is another sculpture of a
unicorn at the same show.
The bronze is the same one as shown
on the
Bronze Pheasant page. The
only difference is in the finish of the
patina.

The 'stone' is still cast bronze with a
finish making it seem to be formed
from Bath stone. Making it appear
detached from the sculpture.

The beak and legs have been
lightened to contrast with the rest of
the sculpture.

The finished work is a very
complicated bronze to cast relying on
the skill and ambition of the team at
Pangolin Editions.
The artist by the pheasant pointing out
a detail to a visitor at The Sculpture
Show.
