After watching dogs at agility lessons and their play chasing and catching
various 'toys' the amazing shapes and forms impressed on my mind. What
followed is this sculpture pushing the limits of wire work.
|Placed on a plinth he stands on one leg
stretching to grab the cord on his toy.
|The size of the 'Dog' is
larger than life as can be
realized when people
stood beside him.
This wire sculpture by Edward Netley pushes 'twisted wire' to its limits.
Not welded or braised the wire is crimped together using a pair of pliers.
Standing on one leg giving the sculpture movement. A dog performing
gymnastics one child said.
