Horse
Created from 1.6mm wire
This 'small' sculpture created from 1.6mm
galvanised wire has been produced to be
shown indoors. Sitting in the middle of a
table he provides an exciting center piece.

Working with such a fine wire is easy on the
hands with the bending and crimping. Yet
proves to be more taxing on the mind than a
full size sculpture.

While being worked the wire pulls on other
wires and distorts the piece on the opposite
side from which one is working on. So a
constant checking and maneuvering of the
sculpture is needed.

Strength is only given to the sculpture once
the 'weave' has been built up. Patience is
needed and a great understanding required
of the material utilized. Eventually a sculpture
will form.
